Xbox is preparing to join the big league by raising the prices of its major new first-party titles such as Forza Motorsport, Redfall, and Starfield from $60 to $70.

Starting 2023, games built for Xbox Series X|S will cost $69.99 USD at launch. Xbox has noted that regional pricing may differ & has not given the specifics for other countries.

The price will definitely reflect the content, scale, and technical complexity of these titles & XBOX games developed by them will also be available with Game Pass the same day they launch.

The key reason behind the jump is ongoing inflation & increased development costs.
