Transformers One animated movie announces star-studded cast, including Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson

Transformers One, the highly anticipated animated prequel to the Transformers franchise, has announced its star-studded cast. The movie will feature Chris Hemsworth as a young Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry as a young Megatron, and Scarlett Johansson as Elita, along with other well-known names in Hollywood.

Directed by Josh Cooley, who also helmed Toy Story 4, Transformers One will take place on the planet Cybertron and serve as an origin story of sorts for Optimus Prime and Megatron. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 19, 2024, and promises to deliver stunning visuals and advanced animation techniques.

In addition to Hemsworth, Henry, and Johansson, the cast includes Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, and Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion. The film has been highly anticipated by fans, as it marks the first animated Transformers movie in over 40 years.
