Ryan Reynolds gives fans a taste of X-Force in Deadpool 3, and promises Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will be “totally different”

Ryan Reynolds has been teasing fans with information about the highly anticipated Deadpool 3 movie. In an interview with ET Canada, Reynolds discussed his excitement about working with Hugh Jackman, who will be reprising his role as Wolverine in the film. Reynolds teased that the version of Wolverine in the movie will be “something completely new to play” and that they have been wanting to work together for a decade. Reynolds explained that he had been persistent in trying to convince Jackman to sign on to the project and that timing was finally right. He also teased that the version of Wolverine in the movie will be different from the character that Jackman previously portrayed.

Reynolds also took to Twitter to hint at the return of X-Force, which were characters introduced in Deadpool 2. The movie is being directed by Shawn Levy, who previously teased the R-rated violence and foulness of the film, and the movie is set to be released on November 8, 2024.

Jackman previously talked about the Wolverine character in the film, describing his return as a “dual role”, and Reynolds teased a plot that would have involved a road trip between Deadpool and Wolverine with a Rashomon-style story before Disney bought Fox. It will be interesting to see how the two characters will interact with each other since Wolverine hates Deadpool. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the film to see what Reynolds, Jackman, and the rest of the team have in store for them.
