Netflix Might Introduce Its Ad-supported Subscription Plan For $7 To $9
Netflix plans to introduce its new cheaper option Ad-Supported Plan which would be about half the cost of its most popular Ad-Free offering, which goes for $15.50 a month.
The streaming service is mulling a $7 to $9 monthly price for this tier. The company plans to roll it out in at least six markets from October through November. The ad-supported accounts would stream four minutes of advertisements for every hour of the content streamed.

Gavras’ latest film set in a French community under revolt hits Netflix on 23rd September.
Athena stars Dali Benssalah, Alexis Manenti, Anthony Bajon, Sami Slimane, and Ouassini Embarek.
It is set to premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival on 2nd September, three weeks ahead of its Netflix premiere.
Athena is the third feature by the French filmmaker Romain Gavras (The World Is Yours), he teams up with the talented filmmaker Ladj Ly (Les Misérables), who co-wrote the script and co-produces this, to make a film about youth clashing with police in France.
