Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Records 4 Million Units Sold in Less Than Two Months

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak goes in for a crackling start with four million copies sold worldwide and the base game is soaring high with sales of over 11 million units.

Capcom’s official website revealed the news, claiming that the expansion’s free title update “helped drive” the sales of Sunbreak & they plan to grow these sales even further with more free updates.

Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak is available for PC (specifically for Steam) and Switch. A PlayStation and Xbox release is still not confirmed at the moment.

Grand Theft Auto Producer Shows Off New Game “Everywhere”

FORMER GTA boss Leslie Benzies’s new studio – Build A Rocket Boy, released a new trailer for the company’s first game “Everywhere” and it looks and sounds like an incredibly ambitious open-world game.

The developer said it is “not trying to make a normal game.” but aims to “blur the line between reality and the digital world.” They want to create a “whole new world” where players can play, watch, share, create, and hang out with friends.

They have promised more updates in the coming months and the players will be able to experience “Everywhere” in 2023.

Game Creator Hideo Kojima Is Launching Something Big Next Month

The Metal Gear and Death Stranding designer Hideo Kojima showed up at Gamescom Opening Night Live to make a special announcement no one saw coming.

He didn’t share news about his new Xbox game or Death Stranding 2. Instead, he announced that his podcast Brain Structure would launch exclusively on Spotify on September 8th. And his best friend Geoff Keighley will be there, too!

It’ll be available in English and Japanese because Kojima wants it to appeal globally. According to Spotify, the new show “unravels the genius behind Kojima’s ideas and creative thinking.”

Everyone’s favorite sadistic little sis “Wednesday” is getting her own TV series on Netflix

Wednesday is soon heading to Netflix, as a unique mix of fantasy-horror-mystery-comedy, described best as coming-of-age series.

The 19-year-old Scream Queen in the making Jenna Ortega is set to play the gothic, death-obsessed teen in the new live-action series along with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Christina Ricci.

Wednesday will be written by the creators of Superman drama Smallville and also include producers previously involved in Addams Family projects.

“Wednesday Addams” of the Addams Family is an 8-episode first season that follows Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. She will arrive on Netflix later this year.

Will Jack Black be Back in Kung Fu Panda 4?

Here is some good news for all Kung Fu Panda Fans.

Kung Fu Panda is coming back for another ride. Universal Pictures has announced a fourth film in the franchise which will be released on March 8, 2024.

It’s not yet confirmed if Jack Black will return to reprise his role as Po. Hopefully, he does!!

Kung Fu Panda 4 will be the most-awaited comeback since 2016’s Kung Fu Panda 3, which wrapped up DreamWorks’ original trilogy. However, the franchise has several animated television series, the most recent being “The Dragon Knight” on Netflix.

PUBG: Battlegrounds Attracts 80,000 New Players Each Day since January 2022

Krafton, the company that owns and operates PUBG has released new stats to show that PUBG adds 80,000 new players every day.

They confirmed, that PUBG for console and PC, which recently celebrated their fifth anniversary, is growing steadily since they adopted the free-to-play model on January 12, 2022, the shift has apparently worked in PUBG’s favor. The average revenue per user is also up, “more than 20% [quarter over quarter].

However, they didn’t reveal how many players leave PUBG on a daily basis, nor did they provide any details on active players. Specific revenue figures were not disclosed.

Square Enix London Mobile in partnership with Vancouver’s Navigator Games (Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast) has developed a new free-to-play adventure with turn-based combat Mobile RPG Game on Android and iOS based on Nickelodeon’s beloved Avatar: The Last Airbender series called “Avatar: Generations”.

It’ll softly launch in Canada, Denmark, South Africa, and Sweden this month.

Avatar: Generations will feature Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Suki, Zuko, Appa, and Momo. Players will be able to take on the roles of all their favorite characters, experiencing their journey in a highly immersive way to play through the chaos in the Fire Nation.

The Japanese figure maker Prime 1 Studio has announced that it would soon be releasing a new figure of Guts from the ever-popular manga Berserk.

It’s a spectacular giant piece with extreme attention to detail and comes in two versions.

The Basic One will cost you approximately US$1,534.50 & the “DX edition” US$1,688. 

The “Guts Berserker Armor Unleashed Edition” figure features Guts clad in the Berserker Armor standing on a pile of monster corpses. At 1/3 scale—including its LED-equipped base—it stands at almost exactly 4 feet tall and weighs a staggering 62 lbs.

This figure definitely looks worth the price.
