Call of Duty 2023 to be Revealed in Early August

Activision’s next Call of Duty game, rumored to be developed by Sledgehammer Games, is expected to be revealed in early August through an in-game event, according to Insider-Gaming. It is unknown if the reveal will happen within Warzone, similar to last year’s Call of Duty: Vanguard, which was unveiled in August 2021. This timeframe would rule out the possibility of the game appearing at a rumored PlayStation Showcase later this month. The upcoming Call of Duty game is rumored to be a full game that will connect to the Modern Warfare subseries and is scheduled for a November 10 launch, with two beta weekends planned for October. Last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 set a sales record for the franchise and was revealed with a worldwide trailer in June, followed by gameplay footage at Summer Games Fest.
